Adaptive Sports

Adapted T-ball and swimming designed for boys and girls ages 5 and up, with mild to moderate mental and/or physical disabilities. 

Art (Youth)

Hosted by Art Haven, these classes are a great creative outlet for kids.

Baseball & T-Ball (Youth)

This program includes a T-shirt and 7 games which will be played on Saturday mornings/ afternoons.

Basketball (Youth)

Orem Youth Basketball is for boys and girls grades K-8th, and is designed to teach the basics and fundamentals of basketball.

Bouldering

Our Bouldering class is a great place to learn the basics of climbing. Climbers will learn foundational climbing technique, etiquette, and safety. 

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Youth and adult)

Learn the basics of grappling and ground fighting in our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) classes.

CPR, Lifeguard, & Instructor

Training and certification for rescuers, instructors, and lifeguards.

Dance

We offer dance classes to students ages 3-12 in Jazz, Ballet, Creative Movement and Hip Hop.

Evil Scientist Academy

In these classes children learn about scientific principles in a fun, creative environment.

Family and Youth Fitness

Some fun fitness options for youth and their families to enjoy.

Fishing (Youth)

We’ve teamed up with the Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) to bring you a fun and informational fishing program for ages 7-13.

Football (Youth)

Flag Football is a fun, fast paced, and safe beginning to the sport of football. Participants are required to wear close toed shoes. Flags and Jerseys will be provided for this program.

Gymnastics, Tumbling & Cheer

We offer gymnastics, tumbling and cheer classes with several different levels and abilities.

Indoor Youth Soccer

Instructional league catered to K-2nd grade age

Kids Dance Fitness

With high-energy dance music, this class is a great way for kids to move, have fun, and learn basic fitness in a class environment. 

Kung Fu

Learn the basics of this Chinese martial art, a style of fighting that involves special punches and kicks.

Lacrosse

In cooperation with other local Recreation Centers we offer a fun, introductory Lacrosse program that will help your kids learn more about this newly sanctioned high school sport.

Mero's Tiny Tusk Preschool Program

Spark curiosity, stimulate imagination, and instill a lifelong love of learning in your little ones.

Magic

Fun interactive classes for the magician in your family.

Pickleball (Adult)

Several different pickleball tournaments held at different points throughout all seasons of the year

Pickleball (Youth)

Youth pickleball camp is for youth in 3rd – 8th grades to learn, practice and have fun playing pickleball.  All skill levels welcome! 

Power Chess

Students will learn the fundamentals of the game & work on improving their concentration & strategic thinking.

Racquetball

Adult Racquetball leagues available at the Orem Family Fitness Center

Skateboarding

Learning more than cool tricks. Sign up for the first ever skateboarding camp!

Softball (Adult)

Male, Female, and Coed leagues available throughout the spring and summer

Softball (Youth)

Girls softball is for girls in grades 3-9th. Games are played at the Orem Elementary Softball Fields on Tuesday and Thursdays evenings. 

Sports Camps

We offer a variety of camps for kids ranging from 3 to 11. A variety of sports are offered at these camps.

Summer Camps

Summer Rec Swim Team

For middle-school and high-school aged kids to continue to improve their competitive swimming skills while not on the school swim team. 

Swim Lessons

Enroll your child in swim lessons! We offer traditional, subscriptions, and private or semi-private lessons. 

Taekwondo

Learn the basics of this great martial art, from the kicks and blocks to basic meditation. 

Tennis

Tennis is offered for beginners and intermediate players. From Spring to Fall, we offer a variety of times and locations.

Track & Cross Country

Track is for boys and girls ages 7-15.  Participants should wear good running shoes.

Tween Yoga

Tween yoga classes are so much fun, but also filled with building important tools that children can carry with them including increased body awareness, strength and flexibility, and self-calming/emotional regulation skills.

Volleyball (Adult)

This program is designed for adults 18+ and up. The league will run roughly seven weeks. The program offers Men’s, Women’s, and Coed divisions.

Volleyball (Youth)

This program is for beginners in grades 4-8th. This program will teach the basics and fundamentals in both a practice and game setting. 

Water Aerobics

Ongoing drop-in classes included with  your membership or daily admission. 

Weight lifting (Adult)

This class is designed to help you learn the basics of weightlifting so you can feel comfortable navigating your way through the gym.

Weight lifting (Teen)

This class is designed to help teens ages 14-19 learn the basics of weightlifting so they can feel comfortable navigating their way through the gym.

Wrestling

Wrestling is for kids in 1st-6th grade and will be held in the Timpanogos Highschool wrestling room. This program is offered in the Spring and Fall. 

Women's Self-Defense

This course is designed for women to learn how to physically defend themselves from an aggressor.  Whether you’re looking for self-defense, empowerment & confidence, or stress relief, you will have a great time with this course!
