Water Aerobics Class Descriptions

Aimee’s Aqua Sculpt

Utilize the natural support and resistance of the water, enhanced with flotation and drag equipment (provided) to sculpt and strengthen muscle, with a focus on developing core strength and stability. Conducted in shallow and deep areas of the pool, and adaptable for all exercise abilities.

Aqua Deep Fit

Fun Cardio-style deep water workout set to music that will get you moving. Targeting your whole body and range of motion through Cardio, HIIT, interval, and strength training. This class caters to all skill levels from beginners to those looking for a high intensity workout. Floatation and buoyancy equipment provided.

Aqua Mama: Prenatal fitness with Aimee

The water is an ideal environment for exercise during every stage of your pregnancy. The hydrostatic pressure of the water alleviates swelling, while supporting your joints and the growing weight of your baby. Join other new and veteran moms for a fun, low impact, full body workout for two. Adaptable for all exercise abilities.

Aqua Zumba

Move to world music flavors in this Latin-inspired, easy-to-follow, calorie burning, feels-like-you’re-dancing fitness party that makes a splash. With less impact on your joints and using water resistance, this class is a party that is fun, yet challenging.

Arthritis

This class follows the guidelines of Arthritis Foundation to keep you moving with no impact exercise.

Carolyn’s Deep Water Splash

Join us in deep water to add no impact cardio exercise and stretching to your fitness routine.

Jessica’s Boot Camp

Fast paced cardiovascular aquatic workout utilizing equipment for muscular strength training, toning, and stretching.

Lorriane’s Water Power (Deep)

A 60-minute group exercise class conducted in deep water. This is a fun class for all fitness levels and flotation is provided. This is a full body workout, a combination of cardio respiratory, muscle conditioning, and interval training. Participants learn to increase their intensity to get the most out of their workout no matter where they start.

Patti’s Deep Water Cardio Plus

A cardio water aerobics class held entirely in the deep water. Movement through the water and use of resistance equipment focuses

on including all muscle groups, especially core strengthening to improve and maintain good balance.

Sonja’s deep water

This is a full body workout, a combination of cardio respiratory, muscle conditioning, and interval training. Conducted in the deep end, participants can increase range of motion using non-impact movements. Flotation is provided.

Sonja’s FUN Friday

Start your weekend right! This is a full body workout, a combination of cardio respiratory, muscle conditioning, and interval training. Conducted in different areas of the pool, but starting in the deep, participants can increase range of motion using non-impact movements. Flotation is provided.

Sophie’s Yoga Tsunami

Yoga is a systematic practice of physical exercise, breath control, relaxation, and positive thinking and meditation aimed at developing harmony in the body, mind, and environment while balancing on one of our new tsunami boards.

Staci’s Power Wave

An intense aqua workout with interval training, plyometrics and power moves to improve cardiovascular fitness, muscular endurance, strength and flexibility.

Tiffany’s Shallow water mix

This class is all about variety! Each week will be a different style class (examples are Tabata, Circuit, Interval), but each week will work your whole body using the resistance of the water. This class will vary from using no equipment to a class dedicated to using pool noodles to a class involving a variety of equipment. You can count on raising your heart rate and having a good time whenever you attend.

Tsunami

Tsunami Fitness offers a safe and fun workout, designed to grow core and joint stabilization, improve your overall fitness level, prevent injury through increased proprioception, and burn calories.
