Gymnastics

A sport that requiring balance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, and endurance. Our classes teach children (both girls and boys) the events of floor (tumbling), vault, bars and beam.

Intro to Gymnastics

Recommended for those with little to no experience.

This class is designed for young children (generally ages 3-5) to learn the basics of gymnastics. In addition to simple moves like forward and backward rolls, kids will learn important techniques and terms that will set them up to continue to grow in gymnastics. Kids will be exposed to floor, bar, and balance beam.

Beginning

Recommended to those with some experience or have successfully completed Intro to Gymnastics.

This course will build on the basics taught in the previous class and expand their foundation of gymnastics. Bar and beam will be more of a focus and vault skills will be introduced. These skills will align with level 1 and some level 2 in the Junior Olympics (JO) scale. 

Intermediate

Recommended for those with proficiency in basic gymnastics or have completed our Beginning Gymnastics course.

Intermediate gymnastics will continue to develop skills in all 4 events including cartwheels, leaps on the beam, and dismounting from the bar. Skills align with JO levels 2 and 3. 

Advanced

Recommended for those with proficiency in gymnastics or have completed our Intermediate Gymnastics course.

Completion of this class will equip gymnasts with the skills necessary to begin participating in JO competitions. Skills such as round-off dismount from the beam and one-armed cartwheels will be taught. Skills align with JO 3 and some 4. 

Tumbling

Known as the floor event in gymnastics, these classes are a great way for kids to learn everything from a basic roll to a roundoff back handspring.

Tumbling Tots

Recommended for those with little to no experience.

This class is designed for young children (generally ages 3-5) to learn the very basics of tumbling. In addition to fun activities that will increase body coordination, kids will learn skills such as forward and backwards rolls and cartwheels. 

Beginning

Recommended to those with some experience or have successfully completed Tumbling Tots.

This course will build on the basics taught in the previous class and continue to build a strong tumbling foundation. Skills include handstands, back bends, and cartwheels. 

Intermediate

Recommended for those with proficiency in basic tumbling or have completed our Beginning Tumbling course.

Here kids will learn more technical tumbling, such as roundoffs and back handsprings, and by the end of the course will start to put together their own combinations. 

Advanced

Recommended for those with proficiency in tumbling or have completed our Intermediate Tumbling course.

This class will help kids grow in their skills as creativity as they learn skills like aerials and fly springs as they work to develop their own combinations.
