Bio

Would you believe that my love of swimming began with a severely broken leg? In the spring of 2015 I broke my leg rollerblading. It was a spiral fracture and I had to be cast above my knee. I spent 12 weeks in splint, cast, and finally a walking boot. I couldn’t swim the entire summer. I already had two older brothers who were swimming competitively, so I joined the team that fall. I loved it! I have now been swimming competitively for 6 years. I am a varsity swimmer for Mountain View High school. The past season, I placed eighth in the region in the 500 free, and sixteenth in the region for the 200 free. I am Red Cross and Lifeguard certified, and I love helping others and seeing them improve in an area I am passionate about.
