2025 BLENDED LIFEGUARD TRAINING
Class space is limited and early registration is strongly suggested! Certification is available upon the completion of the course (28 hours, 100% attendance required). The course materials are included in the cost of the class and will be provided on the first day of the course. A skills test is given on the first day of class (class fee refunds minus the $25 non-refundable fee are given to those who fail this test). Participants must pass all written, online material (students will receive an email from Red Cross to complete their online instruction material. All students must complete this before the first day of class), and water skills tests to receive certification. CPR and First Aid certifications are included in this course. Participants must be at least 15 years of age by the last class session. Proof of age is required and verified at the beginning of the course. Classes will be held at the Orem Family Fitness Center (575 West Center Street) in Orem, Specific online module will be emailed one week prior to first day of class. Participants age 15 and older may receive an offer of employment after successful completion of the course, as well as have the course fee refunded after a probationary employment period.
