After-Hours Rentals

The City of Orem Scera Park Pools accepts reservations for private parties before and after operational hours.

Reservations are made by contacting Marissa Dale at 801-229-7153 or mndale@orem.gov after Jan 1, 2024. Reservations are for the secured area inside the pool complex and do not include park or pavilion rental. (Pavilion rental is available to Orem residents after February 1, 2023 online (Click here for park information) or in person at the new Orem Family Fitness Center located at 575 West Center Street.)

Groups interested in scheduling an after hours party may not use the facility for private gain or charge any type of admission or fee for those in their group to attend the event.  No fundraising of any sort is allowed in the pool area or out in the adjacent park.

Fees are based on the type and size of the group. Fees are inclusive of a 1.5 hour time block. Groups are required to prepay an upfront reservation cost during booking of $250 to guarantee and confirm the reservation. The initial amount paid will go toward the total due, and the remainder may be paid up to two weeks prior to the event. If not paid two weeks prior to event, your reservation may be forfeit and refund unavailable of the original $250 paid.

Discounts may be given to parties booking both times on Friday or Saturday evening.

• Groups reserving the pool for an after hours private party are allowed to bring in their own outside food and drink.  NO glass is allowed and NO alcohol is allowed.
• Groups will be given wristbands to disperse ahead of event and all participants entering event must wear a wristband unless 2 or younger. 
• No bands, DJ’s or amplified sound allowed.  Approved music through our existing PA system allowed only on nights when there is no Scera Shell performance in the park.  Contact manager for details and availability.
• Very limited power available (Basic 20 amp outlet)
• No fundraising is allowed
• Admission may not be charged to those attending event by any group renting the facility
• Inflatables/bounces houses/etc are not allowed in the pool enclosure or in any City park.
• Proper swim attire is required.
• After hours parties are not available on holidays/holiday weekends (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Pioneer Day, Labor Day).
