Our lessons are technique-focused, kick-driven, and goal-oriented. With our new curriculum and structure, we can help you reach your goals on your schedule. We offer traditional two-week lessons, private lessons, semi-private lessons, and our new track-based subscription lessons. You choose the style of lessons that works best for you and we will do the rest.

SUBSCRIPTION LESSONS (COMING IN JULY)
The Orem Family Fitness Center is now offering quality swim lessons that fit your schedule. We are offering lessons once, twice, or three times a week subscription lessons. It’s simple: you choose what day and time works best for you and you’re ready to go. We offer different subscription tracks. Whether your goal is to get ready for high school tryouts, club tryouts, triathlon training, learn to swim, or general fitness, we have a track for that.
HOW IT WORKS…
First, participants decide what track that fits their needs (see below for a listing of tracks). Second, participants decide how often they want to attend each week. We offer once, twice, or three times a week. Third, they sign up for what day and time works best for their schedule. Lastly, they set up a subscription.
Subscription lessons are offered on a monthly, quarterly, or semiannual basis. Your credit card will be charged on the first of every month. If you choose to cancel your subscriptions, a withdrawal form must be submitted by the 15th to avoid next month’s charges.
Upon request parents may receive a digital progress report each month. This can be done from our website.

We will still be offering our traditional two week lessons. These sessions will have lessons Monday through Friday the first week and Monday through Thursday the second week. With our new curriculum, swimmers will sign up for the appropriate swim school where the instructors will do an assessment on the first day to separate them based on their level within that swim school. Swimmers will be working on the appropriate station for that swim school during their session. Once a swimmer passes a station they can begin to work on the next station during that session. No more waiting till the next session to work on the next station. Parents will be emailed a digital progress report after each session.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SWIM SCHOOL TO REGISTER MY CHILD FOR?
It can be difficult to know what exactly to register your child for. Take this simple placement assessment below to help you know what swim school is best for your child. Once you have completed the assessment an email will be sent to you with the results of which swim school is best for your child to register for.
Swim School Curriculums
There are three stations within our swim school 1. The focus is to get your swimmer comfortable and more confident in the water. Instructors will work on blowing bubbles, being comfortable with being underwater, floating, gliding, kicking on their back/side, and introducing freestyle/backstroke, and the introduction of the breaststroke and dolphin kick.
There are three stations within our swim school 2. The focus is to get your swimmer to kick on their back and side unassisted, pass off the breaststroke and dolphin kick, increase endurance with freestyle and backstroke, introduce breaststroke, butterfly, elementary backstroke, flip turns and diving.
There are four stations within our swim school 3. The focus is to get your swimmer to increase their endurance with freestyle and backstroke, build confidence and pass off their breaststroke and butterfly, introduce block dives, and introduce the individual medley (IM).
