Swim Instructor Training

Orem City has joined with other Utah County Pools to develop and implement a new swim instructor training program and swim lesson program known as the “Utah County Swim School”. All instructors hired at any of the involved Utah County facilities will be required to complete the Utah County Swim Instructor Training before summer 2012. Due to this change we will no longer be offering The American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor training program at our facility. The new training program which implements the Utah Valley Swim School standards will be offered starting the end of March 2012 at the Orem Fitness Center. Please contact Chad Barth at or 801-229-7159 for more information or to be placed on an interest list.
