Racquetball Tournament Registration
ADULT RACQUETBALL LEAGUE
The Orem Fitness Center will host a Spring racquetball league for men and women of all ages and abilities. The league will last eight weeks. The beginning to advanced league plays Tuesday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. An awards party will be held on the last night of the league for winners and participants. UTAH VALLEY "HIGH SCHOOL" RACQUETBALL LEAGUE
The Utah State Racquetball Association (USA Racquetball) has sponsored a High School racquetball league for the past 8 years, comprising of students from about 10 different High Schools located in Salt Lake City. Two years ago, students from Utah Valley High Schools, (Lone Peak, Orem, Pleasant Grove, Mt. View) joined the USA Racquetball league and the competition began. This group of players calls the Orem Fitness Center home. Coached by Matt Orton and Rob Burr, this team of talented players finished 1st place the first year and finished in the middle of the pack last year. Returning players who will anchor the team for 2009-2010 season are: Spencer Burr, Shaun Wible, Emily Webb and Chase Beal. League play starts mid-November thru January, culminating with the State High School Championships in February. If you have a High School student that would be interested in participating on the team, regardless of skill level, please contact our volunteer coaches Matt Orton 801-787-4142, Rob Burr 801-765-0083, or Program Coordinator, Kaye Buhler 801-229-7118. Help us carry on this fantastic sport.
RACQUETBALL CLASSES
Classes for all ages and ability levels will be taught by the Club Pro and held on Tuesdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Private instruction is available for $15/hour.

RACQUETBALL TOURNAMENTS
Orem Open - 2013
The Orem Fitness Center will host its annual “Orem Open” Racquetball Tournament January 9 - 12, 2013. This tournament will be a sanctioned event and will run in a consolation type format. A participant must be a USA Racquetball member or pay the $50(adult) or $25 (21 & under) annual membership fee,or $10 (one time event fee) before being eligible to play. The cost will be $32 ($25 w/o shirt) for the first event and $10 for the second event. For youth ages 18 and under, the cost will be $20 ($15 w/o shirt) for the first event and the second event is free. Phone in entries will be accepted at an additional cost of $5 per entry. All entries must be received by Friday, January 4, 2013, @ 6 p.m. Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and consolation winners in each division (based on a minimum of 8 entrants). Matches will start Wednesday evening around 5 p.m. with finals being played Saturday morning. An awards ceremony will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. Hospitality will be provided in the form of drinks and refreshments for all participants. Tournament entry forms will be available at the Orem Fitness Center. All draws are final and no refunds will be given after the draws have been made. Tournament Directors will be Roger Flick (801-422-6010) & Kaye Buhler (801-229-7118).
