After Hour Rentals

The City of Orem Scera Park Pools will accept reservations for private parties before and after operational hours. Reservations are for the secured area inside the pool complex and do not include park or pavilion rental. (Pavilion rental is available to Orem residents after February 1, 2013online (see "Parks" tab above) or in person at the Orem Fitness Center at 580 West 165 South)

Groups interested in scheduling an after hours party may not use the facility for private gain or charge any type of admission or fee for those in their group to attend the event.  No fundraising of any sort is allowed in the pool area or out in the adjacent park.

Fees are based on the type and size of the group. You need to add together both a staffing fee (based on your group size)in addition to the facility rental fee. Fees are inclusive of a 1.5 hour time block. Groups are required to prepay a $100 non-refundable security deposit and sign a usage application agreement (three weeks prior to the reservation date) to guarantee and confirm the reservation.  The deposit will go toward the total due, and the remainder may be paid at the pool on the date of the event.

Reservation Time Blocks Available:

Mondays-Thursdays: 7:30-9 p.m. **NEW THIS YEAR...earlier time block.  Pool closes to the public at 7 pm**

Fridays-Saturdays:    6:30-8 pm OR  8:30-10 p.m. (May reserve both time slots.  Multiply fees below by 2)

Saturdays:               10:30 a.m.-noon

Other info:

  • Groups reserving the pool for an after hours private party are allowed to bring in their own outside food and drink.  NO glass is allowed and NO alcohol is allowed.
  • No bands or amplifiers allowed.  Approved music through our existing PA system allowed only on nights when there is no Scera Shell performance in the park.  Contact manager for details and availability.
  • Very limited power available (Basic 20 amp outlet)
  • No fundraising is allowed
  • Admission may not be charged by any group renting the facility
  • Inflatables/bounces houses/etc are not allowed in the pool enclosure or in any City park.
